Halo explained…
Essentially, this “halo” of lightness swathes hair with reflection and makes grow-out part of the look. “The veil section at the crown of the head is what makes this method so unique,” explains Jill. “Most of the time, we feel as stylists that we have to color every strand of hair so the client gets their money’s worth. But in actuality, we need that growth and that depth to make our work stand out!” A bonus: It’s quick and easy. “Any time I can create a foil placement that makes my days in the salon go smoother, I will use it over and over!” says Jill.
Jill’s tricks and tips…
Keep your sections clean:
“This lets you stay in control of the weaving pattern. Use extra clips if needed, and trust that teach section has a purpose.”
Use it when clients wanted that rooted look:
“This technique can be used on any hair, any time,” says Jill. “The sectioning is meant for rooted and soft grow-out lines.”

Over-direct your weave:
“This creates a softer result.”
